QHow many people can take part?

The plan is designed for one party of two. We are happy to discuss other group sizes where possible, adjusting accommodation, transport, meals and the price accordingly. Please contact us for details.

QHow far in advance should we apply?

As the fireworks, accommodation and transport all need to be arranged, we recommend contacting us well in advance. The deadline for applications depends on the details of your journey. Please contact us for details.

QMay we simply ask for advice?

Of course. Enquiries are free of charge, and sending one does not confirm a reservation. Even if nothing is decided yet, simply tell us who you would like to travel with and how you would like to spend your time.

02Fireworks & the Experience

QCan we launch fireworks that carry our own feelings?

We listen in advance to the story behind your occasion and the words you wish to send, and reflect them in your original fireworks banzuke (presented to you as a paper keepsake) and in the way your journey unfolds. How they can be expressed in the fireworks themselves will be confirmed according to the details of your plan.

QWhat happens if it rains?

Whether the fireworks can go ahead is decided according to the weather and wind conditions. The conditions for postponement, cancellation and costs will be explained when your formal plan is confirmed. Please contact us for details.

QCan we discuss the fireworks themselves?

Within what is feasible, we will make proposals in coordination with the fireworks maker. Please contact us for details.

03Stay & Access

QWhere will we stay?

In the sample plan, we propose a stay at Okko-no-ki, an inn in a traditional farmhouse. Rather than lavish facilities, we value a stay that lets you feel the land, the people and the way of life of Ojiya. The accommodation may change depending on the timing and on coordination with our partners.

QIs transport provided?

Round-trip transfers between your accommodation and the Katakai fireworks venue, and a special rickshaw experience, are included in the plan. Transfers from Nagaoka Station, Urasa Station and elsewhere are optional (quoted separately). Please contact us for details.

QCan you accommodate dietary requests and allergies?

Dinner and breakfast are included in the plan. We will check what can be accommodated for dietary requests and allergies, so please let us know when you contact us.

04Changes & Cancellations

QCan we make changes or cancel after booking?

The conditions for changes and cancellations (including cancellation fees) are set in light of the conditions of the fireworks and each provider, and will be explained before your formal reservation. Please contact us for details.
